DBSWIN by Dürr Dental & Co. KG is a Windows-based dental imaging and documentation application designed to streamline the acquisition, viewing, enhancement, and archiving of clinical images. Built to work seamlessly with Dürr Dental hardware—such as VistaScan image plate scanners and VistaCam intraoral cameras—it also supports many third-party imaging sources.

Key capabilities:

  • Image acquisition from digital sensors, image plate scanners, intraoral cameras, and compatible video devices
  • Patient-centered image management for quick retrieval and organized case documentation
  • Image processing tools, including exposure optimization, contrast and brightness adjustment, sharpening, and selectable filters
  • Diagnostic utilities such as measurements, annotations, angle and length tools, templates, and side-by-side comparisons
  • Integration with practice management systems via standard interfaces; support for DICOM, TWAIN, and common image formats for import/export
  • Reporting and communication features for printing, referrals, and secure image sharing
  • Configurable user permissions and backup options to support data protection policies

DBSWIN helps dental practices and clinics improve diagnostic workflows, standardize image quality, and keep patient imaging records organized while integrating tightly with Dürr Dental’s imaging devices.
